Description

The story:

I stood again at the banks of the Widawa River, waiting for the fog to work its quiet magic. The world was hushed and cold, everything draped in thick, ghostly blue mist. As the sun began to rise, it pierced the fog with a fierce, fiery glow, setting the entire scene ablaze in shades of orange and gold. I felt like I was watching the dawn break through another realm entirely.

This photograph, Oxygene Part 4 from my Oxygene series, is my attempt to capture that moment of transformation. The river mirrored the blazing light and the silhouetted trees, while the fog softened every edge, making it feel both real and dreamlike. Standing there, camera in hand, I felt small in the best possible way – humbled by the quiet power of light pushing through the darkness. It reminded me why I keep returning to this river: to chase moments where nature reveals something rare, fleeting, and true.
